Long time no see!

So I haven't posted in such a long time! I've had such a busy year, I got married and fell pregnant and then had my beautiful little boy! Unfortunately crafting had to take a back seat with such a cute little guy to look after! Even though I haven't been crafting I have been hauling lots of craft supplies and when I've had a spare half an hour I've been making the odd card! I've decided to start making card tutorial videos for YouTube. This is my new years resolution for 2012! Atleast 1 a month (starting with February) as each tutorial will be based on a card inspired by my Christmas present (a subscription to papercraft inspirations magazine)

When I've posted my first video I will keep you updated!

Love!

Long time coming!

I've been abit lazy with my blog... although I have been making lots of cards! which I will post abit later...

I went to the craft fair at the Brighton center with my Mom this weekend for my Birthday treat! I got lots of great things and when I got home I started crafting away straight away! (Forgot to mention) I got some FANTASTIC news today, stampin' up had a stall at the exibition, they had some amazing ideas on their stall and in the catelogue, they had a competion for some goodies and..... I WON!!!! When I get them I will definately start crafting away and will post pictures as soon as I've made them! :)

A Birthday card for a very special friend!

Pinched this idea out of my monthly craft magazine, this was a thank-you gift for my Mom for taking me to the craft fair!

This is a Birthday card for one of the girls at work, I also found this one in the craft magazine, I think its so cute! See below for when you pull the dog out of the kennel!

Lastly, nearly 6 years together and Jack suprised me with a huge bunch of flowers, and although you can;t see it in this picture there was chocolate aswel! I'm a very lucky lady!

Poorly Me :o(

I've not been feeling great at the moment! I had a tooth taken out (I'm terrified on the dentist), the pain is awful so I've been laying in bed most of the time feeling very sorry for myself!

Before the horrible dentist butchered my little tooth, I did managed to practise making flowers for cards!! using the quilling technique! they look lovely, however I'm not quite sure how they are going to fit in an envelope on a card (any ideas??)

Picture attatched of my flowers!

Heres the first one! its for a 30th in my team for someone who loves cricket!

Oh I forgot to mention, I've started making my valentines tags aswel!

So I didn't quite make 100....

The charity event went down amazingly well :) it may have sent me into a card making frenzy!

We made just over £2000 which is great as it was going to children who are terminally ill, so we were all very pleased!

At the event there was a florist, which made me realise I would love to get into flower aranging! Luckily she is going to start short courses so watch this space!

I am now making my Christmas cards for friends and family, I managed to sell all of the cards I made, so now I am starting again! but am very excited! I'm a big girly girl, so I do love cards with lots of ribbon and shiney things!

As I need to make around 30 I am going to make them rather simply.... I'll leave you with....'Heres one I made earlier!....'
